It is an unusual group of robbers who attempts to carry out a most perfect robbery in Spanish history – stealing 2.4 billion euros from the Royal Mint of Spain.
According to the professor’s plan, they holed up in the royal mint with 67 hostages. If it succeeds they will come out with 2.4 billion euros. In the first look of this robbery gang, we assume that they are robbers but after some time they will actually become heroes. There are some situations where you must cry. Police and people had done many things to take them down but they never harm any of the people after having so much of guns. After one time, they become idols and get support from the public.
It was also engaging you and you got to know the individual characters of the heisters, as well as who they were up against.
This series gives a lot of big messages. First of all, Dali masks are not an ordinary choice. Dali is a genius painter who inherited a life that is contrary to popular morality and common customs. He has never accepted the imperatives from society and the right to wrong moral codes. The masks represent this irregularity.
Secondly, Red overalls represent socialism. The wearers are socialist comrades and fighting. Mint and cops represent capitalism.
The professor is symbolizing the scientific perspective and accounting. After all, scientific thinking and accountability overcome all kinds of problems.
Every time you watched some new events in the series it always gives us a message and has a deep meaning. Ciao Bella is the symbol of socialism.
Despite all the madness of these impossible heists, at the core of the show are the relationships between the characters. Many viewers may find themselves sick of the melodrama.
So many shows take seasons upon seasons up with a repetitive back and waiting for characters to initially get together with their love interests, but La Casa de Papel takes the time to explore real issues in relationships and how couples can continue to grow together whilst in pursuit of a career.
Each character is given space to reflect and develop on their own so that they don’t end up getting consumed by their significant other.
