Rohit Sharma praises Jay Shah for his role in Test cricket after the Incentive Scheme

Indian cricket is getting better, thanks to BCCI secretary Jay Shah and the ‘Test Cricket Incentive Scheme.’ Captain Rohit Sharma likes this move that encourages players to play more Test matches and earn money.

The New Incentive Scheme:

The BCCI introduced the ‘Test Cricket Incentive Scheme’ to help senior men players. It’s for players who play more Test matches and ensures they get money. If a player plays in more than 50% of Test matches in a season, they get INR 30 lakhs per match. Those not playing get INR 15 lakhs per match.

Rewards for Player Participation:

Players playing in over 75% of Test matches get even more money. If they’re not playing, they get INR 22.5 lakhs per match. If they’re playing, they get a big INR 45 lakhs per match.

Rohit Sharma’s Cheers:

Captain Rohit Sharma likes this idea and said good things about it on his social media ‘X’ account. He thinks Test cricket is important, and he thanked both the BCCI and Jay Shah for helping and paying players.

Rohit’s cheers come after India did very well in the Test series against England. They won the fifth Test, making the series 4-1. Rohit’s leading helped, making him the first captain to beat England in a Test series in a long time.
