Now 1 lakh tests per day will be done by using real-time PCR based diagnostic kit
MyLab Discovery Solutions is the first indigenous company to screen and sample COVID-19 from samples of people exhibiting flu-like symptoms with a real-time PCR-based molecular diagnostic kit. TDB has supported him in which he will accelerate the production of kits through automation. With this, their current capacity will increase from 30000 tests per day to one lakh tests per day. The company hopes to complete the automation within the next few months. This kit has been approved by CDSCO (Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation) and ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research). The kit will be put to work in a very short time. This can prove to be very effective for the country.
TDB invited companies for COVID test innovations
TDB (Technology Development Board) invited Indian companies and enterprises to come forward to prevent infection spreading, control, laboratory support, prevent the rapid spread of COVID 19, isolation of critically ill patients and problems such as ventilator management etc to give their technical support with innovations.
TDB had given the confidence that the company would come forward to commercialize indigenous technologies, approving them financial support. Mylab was one of the companies to respond to the invitation.
